A P R I L | F A V O U R I T E S:

April wasn’t really a month of new discoveries for me personally, so this was more of the month of bringing out old favourites that I know that I consistently love.

1. Maybelline Fit Me concealer:

This is one of my all time favourite products, it is a creamy concealer that covers everything well, I love that it can be used all over the face, on spots and under the eyes.

2. Maybelline Brow Drama brow gel:

This is a brow gel that I have had to learn to love, rather than love on first impression. It has a very odd brush, but I love the finish it leaves, I like using it over my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade, as it helps keep my eye brows in place, whilst also adding a slight definition which I find makes them look more natural as it imitates natural hairs.

3. Too Faced Blushing Bronzer in ”Carrie & Big”:

This is the only new product that I have really been using religiously this month, it is a shimmer blush, that adds a bit of colour, but does not apply to the face with any noticeable glitter or shimmer. It adds some beautiful colour to the face, and I love it on my light skinned complexion.

4. The Balm MaryLouManizer highlighter:

This highlighter is nothing new to anyone in the beauty community, it has been so hyped, but I truly believe that it is extremely deserving because of the beautiful champagne coloured sheen that it applies, I love this on my cheeks and as inner corner highlight on the tear duct as it brightens like nothing else.

5. The Balm BahamaMama bronzer:

A contour shade that sits just right under my cheek bones creating that elusive perfect shadow, I love this shade as a contour for my cheek bones, the tops of my forehead and my jaw line, it is quick and easy to work with and as with all of the The Balm powders it is finely milled and so easy to blend!

6. MAC Cosmetics lipstick in ”Rebel”:

My first ever MAC lipstick, this one is an old favourite of mine and due to colder and more wintery weather I have been loving berry tones on my lips as the perfect Autumn to Winter transition.

7. Urban Decay Naked original palette:

This was once upon a time my first ever high end palette, and I used this all the time, I had forgotten about this for a while there, due to buying new palettes and experimenting with different looks, but I will always have a massive soft spot for this palette, its beautiful and so versatile, I have hit pan on two of the shades and think that it will be a definite repurchase once it starts to look too battered and bruised.

I would love to know some products that you all have been loving in the month of April, and I am terribly sorry for inconsistent posting recently, I have been terrible with my routines, and I am endeavouring to do better I promise you that!
