J U N E | F A V O U R I T E S:

The year is half way through, how incredible, I understand that is ludicrously cliched, but I really can’t believe that this year has gone so quickly already, honestly I’ve been loving it!

Over the month of June I have really been changing up things with my makeup, including a far better skin care regime, wearing slightly more minimal makeup on days when working and also attempting to swap things around in my collection.

Products that I have been loving last month include the following, in no particular order:

  • ChiChi Cosmetics BB cream “light”:

I have never been a big fan of BB creams or tinted moisturisers, I am normally of the belief that if I am going to bother putting on makeup then I will go the whole way with the look. However, I have been loving this product as a total exception, I will be doing a full blog post regarding in the future because I think I actually have a lot to say regarding this BB cream.

  • Loreal brow artiste plumper “dark brown”:

I have defiantly mentioned this in a previous favourites, but I fall in love with this so badly lately that I need to mention it again! It’s such an incredible texture to my eyebrows, this has been a great combination along with my Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade to outline my brows and then brushing through with this tinted brow gel. I have received so many compliments about how natural, yet purposeful my brows look since I have been using this!

  • MAC Mineralise skin finish “soft and gentle”:

A cult status product that needs no justification, this is a highlighter with an out of this world glow that can be added using this mineralise skin finish. I cannot describe how radiant my face looks when I dust this over my blush and as my inner corner highlight. This is a total classic for a reason, I love this product and it is something I am always glad to have in my collection, a bronze highlight that will never go out of style.

  • BH cosmetics 26 colour palette “neutral eyeshadow & blush”:

This has been in my collection for over year now, and when I first bought it, it received a lot of loving initially but defiantly got put at the bottom of my palette draw and sadly neglected. Cleaning my drawers out and discovering this palette felt like buying something new! I love the colours in this and I think it’s the best quality of the two BH cosmetics palettes that I own, super inexpensive and really easy to work with, there will also be another blog post up separately about this palette because I think it is fantastic and a great staple to a collection or even an excellent beginners addition to a collection.

  • Biore Charcoal pore minimiser exfoliant:

This has changed my skin, there is so many charcoal based skin care going around right now, and I thought it would jump on the bandwagon in a more affordable avenue by trying out Biore’s new range which is focused on charcoal being the key ingredient. Being a scrub lover, I grabbed this product, and I am so glad that I did. My skin is so soft, clear and bright, my skin has honestly never been this nice, I am so glad that I tried out some of Biore’s skincare line. I use this exfoliant around 3-4 times a week.

  • Biore triple action toner:

After starting to use this toner two weeks ago, I am so angry at myself for not continuing using toner like I previously did, my skin loves this toner, it minimises my oils and generally clears my skin, as a great next step after removing my makeup nightly. I even try to use this in the morning before I apply my makeup, as well as the evening once I have removed my makeup, I have noticed such a difference with my skin using both of these Biore products, and I am so glad I have a more organised and effective skin care routine!

  1. Love your favourites! I heard so many great things about the L’Oréal Brow Artiste Plumper and that it is a dupe for Benefit’s Gimme Brow, I really want to try it out ❤
