Yes, I am very aware that this is my second haul post in a row, and that I am going overseas next month, but let’s be real, I think that IMATS & Priceline 40% off sale, is a good enough reason to be a little naughty!
I thought I would do a nice little summary of everything that I picked up from the Priceline 40% off cosmetics sale, to show you all what I got, give a little inspiration for future purchases, or even give some ideas for the upcoming 40% off cosmetics sale at Big W which is coming up for Australian beauty lovers in late November & December.
I picke up mostly nail polish, cheek and face products, and a real mixture of everything else! So keep reading if you love affordable makeup, new products or even just photo’s of makeup!
The brand’s that I purchased from were Essence Cosmetics, Sinful Colours, Models Prefer, Face Of Australia, Maybelline, Australis, Loreal & Real Techniques. While brushes are not normally included in the 40% off cosmetics, the particular Priceline that I went to had 40% off Real Techniques brushes as a managers special which was fantastic for me!
Here is a list of all of the products that I purchased, but there is more details on other products, beneath that.
Nail polishes:
- Maybelline Superstay ‘Eternal Lilac’
- Maybelline Superstay ‘Rose Poudre’
- Maybelline Superstay ‘Mauve On’
- Maybelline Superstay ‘Rouge Profound’
- Sinful Colours ‘Sail La Vie’
- Sinful Colours ‘Tempest’
- Essence ‘Quick Dry Drops’
Face products:
- Maybelline Matte & Poreless foundation ‘120’
- Models Prefer Contour Duo
- Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powder ‘Soft Focus’
- Face of Australia ‘Fase Base’ primer
- Australis Original Primer
- Essence Soft Touch Blush ‘Natural Beauty’
- Face Of Australia Liquid Illuminator ‘Angel Blush’& ‘Angel Glow’
Eyes:
- Loreal Brow Artiste Plumper ‘Dark Brown’
- Essence Make Me Brow ‘Dark Brown’
- Loreal Lumiere Eyeshadow ‘ Gold Mania’
Lips:
- Essence Lip Liner ‘Soft Berry’
Brushes:
- Real Techniques ‘Blush Brush’
- Real Techniques ‘Miracle Complexion Sponge’
These were the nail polishes I picked up, as well as some Essence Cosmetics quick dry drops, that are mainly made from alcohol, meaning that nail polish dries far quicker than without the product. I have a similar product from both Orly & Revitanail and cannot recommend them enough! The Maybelline “Superstay” nail polishes are my total favourite nail polishes and are the longest wearing polishes that I own. The majority of the polishes that I own chip off my nails over a short wear time, so these polishes are my total favourite, I wish they had every colour of the rainbow, and then I would be eternally satisfied! The colour’s I picked up in the Maybelline range were: Mauve On, Rouge Profound, Eternal Lilac & Rose Poudre.
The Sinful Colours polishes are a relatively new discovery of mine, but one’s that I enjoy! They are very inexpensive with a huge colour range which is a big plus for me personally. I got the shades: Tempest & Sail La Vie. Two bright polishes that I think I will get a lot of wear out of!
The following were all base products that I picked up, base makeup is my personal favourite. I love trying new foundation, blush, concealer, powders, bronzers, etc, they are my favourite aspect to a makeup routine, and one product that is increased dramatically in my makeup collection is definitely highlighters! More so powder than cream, but I have been finding so many newbies to try out lately, and loving that glow, I feel like the matte finish obsession is coming to a close and everybody can’t get enough of looking like a disco ball!
Products are:
- Models Prefer Contour Duo in ‘Light’
- Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powder ‘Soft Focus’
- Essence Silky Touch Finish Blush ‘Natural Beauty’
- Face of Australia Liquid Illuminators in ‘Angel Glow’ & ‘Angel Blush’
Models Prefer is Priceline’s own brand of makeup, with some serious hidden gems, Essence is also a super affordable makeup brand that has some amazing products. Face of Australia is also very affordable, but in the past I haven’t always had the best luck, but I have heard great things about certain products, so I decided to listen to the advice to hopefully find some winners!
The above two are two brow gels, meant to add colour and texture, giving that gorgeous messy brow look that I adore so much! I have used and loved the Loreal Brow Artiste Plumper in ‘Dark Brown’ previously and is my favourite, so the above is a back up, in new packaging as well!
The second brow gel is the Essence ‘Make Me Brow’, it is so teeny tiny, and was a recommendation from Chloe Morello, as another great affordable brow gel that gives that textured look which has become so popular! I have been using this for the past week and couldn’t be loving it more, I cannot say yet if it has taken the place of my Loreal brow gel, but I defiantly recommend it for a super affordable option, but I will keep you posted if it becomes something that I can’t live without!
Also grabbed two Real Techniques brush and sponge, as a big ole thank you to the manager of Priceline Bay Village for putting on such a great sale during the 40% off cosmetics sale, I have never seen such a big discount on Real Techniques like 40% off! I already have a blush brush from the brand that I use for blush, but I wanted this one as a bronzer brush to use to warm up the face and add some definition, without contouring! The other is the Miracle Complexion Sponge, a similar sponge to the Beauty Blender which is a total favourite of mine, I find that both the Beauty Blender and this one from Real Techniques are very similar and I find the two interchangeable!
This is just a quick summary of the products that I purchased during the 40% off sale, but it you are interested in any details of anything else, please let me know, as I do my best to respond to comments! As always, big love to you all, and thank you for reading x
Ooooh! We need to put you on a spending ban! LOL. Have fun in Europe! DF xoxo
