Essence lip liners:
“In the Nude” & “Deep Red”:
These lip liners some how hid their way out of my makeup bag on the way to Europe, so when in Germany I picked up two of the basic colours that I could mix and match with most lip colours. These are super cheap lip liners that work perfectly! I only wish there were more colours!
Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder “Translucent”:
An absolute stock standard of my makeup bag, this product is always floating around my collection, so when in London I picked up another as I had completely used up the one I came to Europe with. A simple translucent pressed setting powder, this one does the job everyday.
Maybelline Superstay Nailpolish “Sea Sky” & “Flesh Tone”:
My favourite type of nailpolish which you would know if you read my “2015 favourites” these are the most long wearing nailpolishes that I personally can find. I have very chip prone nails, they come in a variety of colours, and apparently in more colours in England! So I picked up these two that we don’t have at home, both pastel, one blue & the other light pink with a slight lavender hint.
Nivea Men After Shave Balm Sensitive:
One of the most hyped up primers, which is hiding in the aisles as a mens after shave balm! Nikkie Tutorials has been raving about this little miracle worker for a while now, and I don’t know why I hadn’t decided to try it first, but I am glad that I did! It definitely prolongs my makeup and helps it to cling to my foundation, exactly what a primer is meant to do! My bottle is in French as it was purchased in Paris, which makes it feel a little more exciting than an English bottle!
Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani 15 eyeshadow palette:
This is the palette collaboration sent from heaven! Whoever said that neutrals are boring is no friend of mine! Neutrals like this give me a warm fuzzy feeling, and I couldn’t love this palette more, so many warm browns, light champagne style shades, just everything that I could personally want, of course it’s limited edition. Finding this in Salzburg, Austria was perfection!
Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette:
Such a left field purchase for me personally, I really am not a cool toned eyeshadow wearer or a smoky eye wearer! So when I had 20% off Sephora France thanks to a lovely little New Year’s coupon, I knew I needed a palette, so this one was the chosen one! Naked 1,2 &3 were all sold out, which was disappointing, so I thought I would get something slightly out of my box in style, but still something I will use from time to time!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer:
Another favourite, but this time it was 15% off in Sephora France, thanks to another cheeky little coupon! I love the coverage this concealer offers and how nice it feels on my skin, there is no dryness with this concealer in my opinion, I love using this under my eyes especially, I have “Light – Warm” it is perfect for brightening under my eyes.
Original Beauty Blender:
I had forgotten how much I loved the original Beauty Blender until I picked this one up on NYE in Paris, my other beauty sponge from Real Techniques had become very cut up from my nails and was full of product. The quality of the original beauty blender is unparalleled in my personal opinion.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation:
My current go to foundation that I first picked up in Paris. A beautiful finish, with medium to full coverage, very build able. I really enjoy this foundation, the packaging, everything I really cannot fault it. I only wish it was longer wearing, but nothing a good primer can’t fix!
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks “Fiery” & “Belissima”:
These liquid lipsticks have recently become quite popular thanks to Stila bringing out holiday mini selections, so I thought I would pick some up from Boots while I was in London! The shades are a bright red and a simple nude. Belissima is the nude, which seems very simple pink in the tube, but on my lips it pulls very peachy, which I love, but may not be for everybody. Fiery, the red is a gorgeous bright red, slightly darker than the average bright red, but a colour that would easily flatter every skin tone. The formula for these is nice, mouse feel, rather than completely liquid. These do transfer slightly, and do not dry down completely. These are not my favourite liquid lipsticks as I personally prefer the Jeffree Star variety, but these are comfortable to wear and do last very nicely with a very wearable colour range.
The following products I have only purchased on the final day of my trip and have no prior experience with so I cannot comment on the products. I have not used any of them as I wanted to photograph them in their unspoiled glory!
