I believe that empties are a very helpful way to demonstrate a precise review of a product because it has been used in its entirety rather than just partially. I personally really enjoy reading and watching other peoples empties posts because I find they are the most honest & informative. I decided to break up my current empties into two categories, makeup and other, which is a bit of everything!
Below are some makeup products that I have used until there was nothing left, quite frankly I love all of these, to varying levels, but read each to see what I think.
TOO FACED – BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION:
A gorgeous bottle of clear skin, this foundation is so gorgeous and well talked about for a very good reason, I love the way this foundation sits on my skin, lasts and photographs, its a great all rounder and suits a variety of skin types in my opinion. Highly recommend trying this out, and I personally need to repurchase!
Repurchase? Yes.
ESTEE LAUDER – DOUBLE WEAR STAY IN PLACE FOUNDATION:
Ahhh Double Wear, how I love you. I have gotten my two besties hooked on this foundation and I personally have had over 4 bottles of the stuff. Hyped? Yes. Worth it? Yes. Huge colour selection and a lasting power that I have never been able to rival, I find best applied with a damp sponge to avoid the full coverage becoming cakey.
Repurchase? Already have.
MAYBELLINE – FIT ME CONCEALER:
This concealer is a classic, its has medium coverage and looks beautiful on the skin. I have recently been using the master concealer from Maybelline as an alternative, but I think I need to pick up another Fit Me because its just so light, but can be built up to a full coverage if needed.
Repurchase? Yes.
URBAN DECAY – NAKED SKIN CONCEALER:
Ahhh the Naked Skin concealer really had it’s 15 minutes of fame, before something new on the block started to upstage it. I was obsessed with this concealer and used up two full tubes. It’s a lovely light weight formula, but there is something about this that feels quite drying under my eyes, a lovely concealer with full coverage, but I prefer the Bare Minerals Bare Skin personally.
Repurchase? No.
NYX – MATTE FINISH SPRAY:
This has to be my favourite finishing spray in the affordable market, I have used up two bottles of this little gem of a formula and really enjoy how well it helps to keep my makeup matte through out the day, I think it is also lovely to settle down powder. If you need an affordable setting spray, this is the one I would direct you toward.
Repurchase? Yes.
ANASTASIA Beverly Hills – BROW WIZ:
I feel like this product is the one that brought ABH to the forefront of everyones minds in regards to brow products. ABH slays brows, we all know that, and this was the little itty bitty mechanical brow pencil that started it all. I love this product because it gives me so much control, a lightly feathered brow is easy to achieve, or even a more intense bold brow is still easy to create with this mechanical pencil. However, there are cheaper alternatives available which has prevented me from repurchasing.
Repurchase? Yes.
MAYBELLINE – HYPERSHARP LINER:
I hate liquid liner, not out of any fault of any product, but because I am personally rubbish at applying. This clever little flat and thin shaped liner, is just the ticket for anyone like myself that struggles with liquid liner. I find it super easy to create an smoothly defined line on my top lash line, still haven’t conquered the wings yet, but honestly I don’t attempt it very often, really need to!
Repurchase? Already have.
Thank you for reading this empties post, I hope you have enjoyed hearing about these products and how I got along with them. I have an upcoming post talking about everything else ’empties’ skincare, hair care, tanning, etc. Keep your eyes peeled, or subscribe to the mailing list and you won’t miss anything. Let me know what your latest empty was and how you got along with it?
Great post lovely! I really want to give the brow wiz another go. I brought one and used it all up when it first come out but haven’t used it since. It would be great to compare it to some of the others now on the market. I also never had any luck with the born this way foundation. It just wouldn’t stay on my skin. Happy to hear you liked it though.

I haven’t used the Brow Wiz in a while, and I just haven’t felt tempted to go back, love the Brow Definer for ABH however! x
I totally agree with you about empties, definitely tells you whether it’s worth it or not! I see so many things on this list I love, but I seriously do need to get my hands on some Estee Lauder Double Wear after all these reviews lately! I also want to try that liner now too!!

I tend to reflect more when I include it in an empties! Thank you for reading love x
I really need to try the Too Faced and Double Wear foundations! Both are such cult favourites, but I’m still yet to try. Adding to wishlist now x
I feel like you would love the Double Wear foundation! I love the Born This Way, but I find that it doesn’t last a really long day in Summer, but I can get longer out of it in Winter! x
