Lip Balms are something I have everywhere! I’m talking: next to my bed, in my car, in my handbag and everywhere in between, there is never one too far from my reach, as an avid lipstick lover, you need to be looking after your lips.
I find that there are two real types in my lip balm collection, tinted lip balms and just regular clear lip balms. While I am sure there are lots of more ways you could classify the lip balms, this is just the way I sort out mine!
TINTED:
Go To Skincare – Pinky Nudey Lips:
This is one of those clever lip balms that makes it look as if you have delightfully plump and lightly coloured lips that are constantly hydrated. I love the packaging, and the scent is light and pleasant, perfect for in the handbag and out the door style makeup day.
Weleda – Tinted Lip Balm ‘Rose’:
This is brand new to Weleda skincare, and comes in three tinted shades, I have Rose, it’s a classic pink shade that only lightly tints the lips, but adds a subtle amount of colour to the lips, without becoming a lipstick. Love the subtle shimmer in the colour, along with the smooth texture, with a thin consistency, along with all that, it’s hydrating, so a total win from me!
JUST BALMY:
Maybelline – Baby Lips:
I think I would have had over 50 of these balms in my possession in the past five years, these just go everywhere, I have them in every nook and cranny around my house, car and even at work, these are becoming an extension of my fingers. They’re hydrating, cheap and applied super quick and come in a variety of yummy flavours.
LanoLips – 101 Ointment Multipurpose SuperBalm:
This balm saved me from the driest lips of my life, and it really adds serious hydration to my lips. I love that it is clear balm for days that I only want to restore chapped lips, seriously recommend for Winter time.
Go To Skincare – Lips:
The original version of ‘Nudey Pinky Lips’, this is just plain old ‘Lips’, but it’s a classic for a reason, super hydrating, with a fruity delicious taste. Depending on wether I need some colour or not depends on which two of the variations that I chose, both great for your lips.
All the above lip balms are fabulous and I adore each of them, so really it becomes your pick of flavours and if you do or don’t like tint to your balm or if you want it to be clear. Thank you for reading, let me know if you have a favourite that I haven’t mentioned!

I didn’t know Weleda made lip balms, I’ll have to try them 🙂
The Weleda tinted balms are very recent releases, so I don’t know if they previously did make lip balms, but loving the tinted. Thank you for reading X

I have too many lip balms, the Weleda one’s are a new release, so something new to my collection! Thank you for reading X
I’m really not a fan of the Baby Lips ones. I don’t find them very hydrating :/ Maybe it is just because I have crazy dry lips. My favourites are definitely the Nuxe Reve de Miel (pot or stick) and Uriage Lip Balm Stick. French pharmacy does it right 🙂
