LWD: Little White Dress.

The LBD is a much spoken about wardrobe necessity, and can not be under valued as a total gem that can be re worn and re styled to be appropriate for just about every occasion. The lesser known LWD is my personal favourite, the little white dress, I like to think of it as the less flashy cousin of the LBD. White is an ever flattering colour in the neutral palette and a personal favourite of mine.

I recommend always having a white dress in your wardrobe, as someone who really only ventures into the neutral territory, I think a white dress can lighten up a normally all black outfit. My little white dress is a simple one from a favourite brand of mine, The Fifth Labe

l, available from The Iconic, Plain Janes, Fashion Bunker, amongst others, they have so many pieces that I adore, and a brand that has a large share in my wardrobe. While this dress isn’t currently available as it is last season, but I think find a white dress that you love, and the general principles can work for any LWD.

DRESS: The Fifth Label “Repetition” currently available on sale online on Fashion Bunker & Market HQ I think, check it out’s a classic, and currently going very cheap!

While obviously this dress can be worn with any number of combinations, or on it’s own, I have below given three jacket examples that will go with any simple white dress, this is where statement shoes or accessories can be the perfect addition to an outfit.

MINE = Assembly Label Via Plain Janes.

Denim jackets have long been a favourite for slightly more casual fashion, and I love this boyfriend style denim jacket for a very relaxed look with this white dress, super comfy and the perfect Sunday outfit.

SUNGLASSES: Quay Australia ‘Kitti’ – Via The Iconic.

DRESS: The Fifth Label.

FLATS: Spurr – Via The Iconic

MINE= Mango.

This is a favourite combination for me, I love the simplicity of the black and white outfit, and the potential to make it edgier with boots or soften it with a pair of mules or heels.

DRESS: The Fifth Label.

MINE= Sportsgirl.

This coat has to be one of my top ten wardrobe pieces currently, it was a last winter piece but I know that luckily Sportsgirl has re released it in another colour, so this gorgeous relaxed shape has hung around a little longer, it can easily be dressed up or down, which is a massive win me thinks.

SUNGLASSES: Quay Australia ‘West End Girl’ – Via Beginning Boutique.

DRESS: The Fifth Label.

CLUTCH: Stitch & Hide – Via Plain Janes.

BOOTS: Betts.

    1. I love the pink coat too! I am quite the messy person myself, but just hope for the best, and use lots of stain remover! Thank you for reading X

  1. This is actually a really interesting idea! I mean we’re so used to the lbd, so the little white dress is really refreshing ;p You’ve styled it really well too! Loving that pink coat xx

  2. I love white dresses!!! So fresh and feminine. Although always thinking about staying away from things that could make a mess. I love the blush coat you paired with the dress!!! I used to have a cute white skater dress from Ally which I loved wearing.
