SKINCARE: Clinique.

Clinique’s skincare is something that I have always wanted to try after hearing so many positive reviews and experiences regarding their products. Having never tried any of the brand’s skincare or makeup, these cult favourite products were the perfect introduction to the brand. I have reviewed three products below including links to the Clinique Australia website.

Please let me know in the comments if you’ve ever used any of these products, or if you’ve used anything else from Clinique and your thoughts on them. Next on my list is the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation after hearing so many rave reviews regarding it.

Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator $60AUD 50ml (3 sizes available):

Water and gel-based moisturisers have been a favourite of mine for quite some time now, and I’ve been loving this one since I received it. I love how lightweight this feels on the skin, and depending on how much I use it can be a morning or evening moisturiser, it also sits nicely under makeup because of the water base.

This works perfectly in conjunction with the Vitamin C booster, discussed below. A moisturiser that I think would work for all skin types and be ideal for Summer skin care routines.

Take Off The Day Balm $55AUD 125ml (2 sizes available):

Double cleansing is my favourite way to ensure that my skin is remaining hydrated, whilst also being cleansed and ensuring that all makeup and pollution from the day has been removed.

This balm is so soft and fine on the skin and is the perfect first step in a double cleanse or can be used alone. I love how when this warms on the skin and emulsifies, becoming similar to a liquid and then removing makeup effectively. It also removes eye makeup which is key to the perfect cleanser. Also, a product that would be perfect for all skin types as it does not strip or dry out the skin while removing makeup and keeping skin hydrated. Definitely, a product that I now understand the hype surrounding.

Fresh Pressed Daily Booster Vitamin C 10% $100AUD (4 Tubes 8.5ml each):

Vitamin C is a favourite skincare ingredient of mine, it helps to brighten the skin, and to reduce redness in rosacea such as my own. This product has been well loved online and spoken of highly by other beauty influencers. I love mixing products like this because they allow for products to be quickly incorporated into skin care routines. 1 or 2 pumps a day into a moisturiser is all that it takes for this product to be effective.

I love how gentle on the skin this is, and how it brightens the skin and helps reduce redness, Vitamin C can cause the skin to become reactive, but has not inflamed or irritated my skin at all.

All products are linked beneath the product names and will take you straight to the Clinique Australia website.

* All products in this blog post were gifted to me as PR samples for review purposes, but I was in no way paid or coerced into giving positive opinions. All opinions are my own and are after trailing each of the products for over a two week period.
