Sephora is an international beauty powerhouse which was launched in 1969 with over 1,900 stores in 29 countries worldwide, with the best understanding of the worldwide language of beauty. There are over 200 stores in the Asia Pacific region, and my personal closest store being the Erina Sephora store in Erina Fair on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
The Erina store is still under a year old having opened in October 2017, with over 100 beauty brands in store and a beautifully expansive appearance after taking over multiple stores in the Erina Fair centre. I love how open the store is, and inviting it is the appearance and multiple entries and exit points to the store with an inviting feel. There is a range of beauty, skincare, haircare, body care and lifestyle products, another aspect I adore about Sephora is the minis and sets in stores and online they have a huge range of products in minis and so many exclusive sets that are a fabulous way to trial products.
I was kindly sent a range of products to showcase the wide variety of products available at Sephora Erina and their 13 other stores. All of the products below are all products that I haven’t tried previously and were a range of products from beauty, skincare and lifestyle products.
TARTE – Tartlette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette $69AUD:
When the original Tarte ‘Tartlette’ palette was launched I took very little notice because of the predominately purple and cool toned shades, which while beautiful are not necessarily my favourite or the most flattering on my skin tone and eye colour. However, when the toasted palette was launched I knew that I need to try it, thanks to my love of warm-toned shades and the ability to create multiple looks from the one palette alone. I love the texture of the shades, and how well they blend, and the mixture of mattes and shimmers in the palette, super versatile and wearable.
NUDESTIX – Rock N’ Roller Easy Eyeliner Ink ‘Bronze Patina’ $35AUD:
Easy and eyeliner are two lines that don’t have a direct connection in my personal experience, but I have been very pleasantly surprised by how easy to use this eyeliner is. I love the bronze shade, but think that a classic black would be a little bit more versatile. The bronze shade is perfectly paired with the Tarte palette and enhances blue eyes beautifully.
COVERFX – Glitter Drops ‘Mirage’ $72AUD:
The CoverFX Custom Enhancer drops are some of my favourite products in my collection because of their beautiful texture and ability to add a subtle sheen to the skin without overpowering the skin. The glitter drops are far more intense than the enhancer drops but can create a very different look. While these are not ideal for daily wear for me, they are perfect for a night out or festival look. However, the shade is stunning and the glitter is finely milled.
BECCA – Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder ‘Vanilla Quartz’ $64AUD:
Becca highlighters are a cult favourite in the beauty community, and they deserve their hype. Such a beautiful formula that looks beautiful on the skin without intensifying texture on the skin. I love the formula and there ability to be an intense appearance, or can be sheered out to be less intense on the skin. The ‘Vanilla Quartz’ is a stunning shade that doesn’t look icy on the skin, which is why I typically tend to avoid lighter highlight shades.
DR JART + – Fuse Hydro Toner $42AUD:
Anything with added hydration is key to Winter skincare, previously the only toner’s I have used have been pore refining and more focused on controlling oils. This ‘Water Fuse’ toner from Dr.Jart+ is a revelation in terms of my dehydrated skin, and fantastic first introduction to Dr.Jart+ products which I have always been very curious about. I love how hydrated this makes my skin feel, and think it would be for those who have previously avoided toner out of fear that it would dry out or strip their skin.
SKIN INC – Multi-Masking Bento Set $46AUD:
You really can never have too many face masks, and sheet masks are the easiest mess-free way to treat skin issues, and also indulge in a little bit of self-care/skincare depending on what is needed at the time. I love that this has two of the three masks, therefore meaning a more confident opinion on the product is possible. My favourite of the three is the ‘Get Glowin’ – Platinum Mask’ which promotes brighter and more radiant skin, perfect for winter time.
FARMACY – Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer $61AUD:
Another simple product that has a really special twist to it. I love the lightweight texture of this moisturiser, it has a very minimal scent which I personally approve of and normally prevents from potentially irritating the skin. I love the feel of this as my daytime moisturiser, and even a moisturiser to put underneath primer before makeup. Favourite aspect is the magnetic lid and the attached metal spatula making product application easy and minimizing mess.
CILK – Rose Extract $79AUD:
YUNI BEAUTY – Shower Sheets $20AUD:
These are travel genius, and honestly something I never knew I needed before I found it. I love how simple this product is, but how many different applications they can have for everyday life and travel. These are perfect for during and after travelling, and also for after a light gym session with no time to shower, or even after work in between dinner or a night out when there’s no time for a full shower. Innovative and simple, but so effective.
Other favourite brands from Sephora that I have been loving that I did not review above include Fenty Beauty, Ole Hendricksen, IT Cosmetics, Clinique, Clarisonic and Commodity Goods. There is such an incredible range of brands at Sephora and I really recommend to go into your local Sephora store and just take the time to wander around and experience all that there is to offer in Sephora stores as well as the online Sephora store.
Sephora has 13 stores in Australia, and are constantly expanding to more stores and hopefully expanding into more states Australia wide. In addition, they have a fabulous online store which is constantly being updated with new products and delivers Australia wide making the Sephora joy available to all Australia wide. I’ve listed all Sephora Australia stores, but the full details of each store can be found on the Sephora Australia website.
