This foundation is full coverage but feels super light on the skin, as only a small amount is needed to be applied. I wear two very light layers which creates a medium-full coverage base, I also apply a little under my eyes so I only need a tiny bit of brightening concealer under my eyes because the foundation is full coverage enough alone.
Personally, I love the applicator, I think it really cuts down on both time and waste when applying and considering how pigmented this foundation is, I think it’s really ideal for a foundation that can be very easily overapplied.
The applicator, while I personally enjoy it and find that it cuts down on both time and waste, if you do have active breakouts on your face this may be potentially unsanitary.
While this foundation does have a 22 shade range, which isn’t terrible, however, I find that from looking at the shades there is very few that fit in the deep/dark range, which is disappointing to see that such a large category has been overlooked.
I have been really enjoying this foundation, and find it a really nice balance of medium-full coverage, without being cakey or feeling heavy on the skin. I love the applicator and find that it works beautifully when blended out with either a foundation brush or a beauty sponge.
When used with a glowing primer it can look incredibly luminous on the skin, or when used with a more mattifying primer it can be an all-day no shine style of foundation.
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this foundation, and have even gotten some compliments on my skin when wearing this which can be unusual when wearing a medium-full coverage foundation. If you enjoy Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation then I think this would be a really beautiful comparison. The perfect foundation for a night out or if you want to wear foundation all day to work from early in the morning to late in the afternoon.
