February was finally my month to breathe after being so busy all through November, December and January. I finally had time to spend on my collection and my website, and I’ve been feeling so much better for it. I also went back to working out this month which has made a world of difference to my skin, body and mind – always recommend a good sweat!
I’m sticking with my super simplified favourites format, but please let me know if you prefer more in my favourites or if you like it clean and simple?
NUDESTIX – Nudies ‘Bondi Bae’:
Having been on a massive cream skin product focus lately, this has been the latest addition to my cream makeup collection, and I’ve been loving it. It’s definitely more of a cream bronzer, than a cream contour as there is a warmth to the shade, but it looks so beautiful on the skin and adds a really natural colour and texture to the skin. I love the appearance of this and find that it helps add a natural dimension to the skin as well as the colour.
OLAY – Luminous Whip:
Being time strapped in the morning means that I need to choose AM moisturisers that are quickly absorbed into the skin, and don’t disrupt the foundation I apply on top. I attended the launch of this beautiful moisturiser, and have been using it ever since. I love the lightweight feel, how quickly it absorbs into my skin, and it also doesn’t alter the appearance of my foundations or can be worn alone on days that I’m not wearing makeup as it has a relatively matte appearance on the skin.
KEUNE – Defrizz Serum:
It’s been a wee bit of a journey for my hair since last year as I have cut it twice recently and created a far different style than I had previously as it was once down to my tail bone, and now sits just below my shoulders. I have been loving it short, but now more than ever I want to ensure that it isn’t frizz! I have been loving this serum, applying it when my hair is damp and then brushing it through. Less is definitely more with this product, and can make the hair look greasy if too much is applied.
PHILOSOPHY – Melon Daiquiri Shower Gel:
Philosophy make so many amazing skincare products, and this shower gel may be the best I’ve ever tried. I love the fruity scent, and how beautifully this glides all over the body in the shower or bath. Perfect for shaving with or just making sure you’re nice and clean and smelling sweet and fruity.
CLEAN RESERVE – Sueded Oud:
This is a perfect day time and subtle work fragrance. It’s a ‘woody musk’ fragrance and is definitely slightly different to the kind of scent that I normally gravitate towards. However, I have been loving this for quite some time now, and really think that they have a lovely range of delicate fragrances that aren’t overpowering or sickly sweet.
Thank you as always for reading, and please do let me know if you’re enjoying the simplified format or prefer more mentions in my favourites? Also, let me know what products you’ve been loving through February?
