I thought it would be a fun thing to share some of my favourite YouTuber’s that I’ve been loving recently, and really think their content is worth checking out. I know some may think it’s odd that I listed how many followers they have, but I know some people really don’t like watching ‘big’ YouTuber’s for whatever reason. There is such a huge oversaturation in the YouTube community which leads to people struggling to find people that they really enjoy watching, and also it’s easy to get a little lost in the whole sphere and difficult to sift through the droves of people to find what you’re really enjoying.
These are not the only people I’m subscribed to, but just some people that I’ve been loving for a while, or some have been a recent discovery.
CHLOE MORELLO – AUSTRALIA – 2.6 MILLION:
Chloe is an Australian favourite of mine, has a huge following but remains to be really down to earth with a great sense of humour. Really enjoy her makeup tutorials, and she has some funny videos coming out sporadically that are a hilarious way to enjoy YouTube videos.
ALLANA DAVISON – CANADA – 570 THOUSAND:
Allana is probably my newest YouTube favourite. I really enjoy her style, her sense of humour and her makeup style. She is quite fresh and feels very real, her Instagram reflects her YouTube style. She is all about the glowy makeup, and you have to watch her Full Face Friday introduction, it’s priceless.
JACKIE AINA – USA – 2.9 MILLION:
Jackie is a longtime favourite of mine that I think has really gained some much-deserved momentum lately especially after her collaboration to increase the shade range for Too Faced’s Born This Way foundations. Her following is pretty big currently, and I love her recommendations as we seem to have very similar favourites, and she’s always good for a laugh while keeping it very real.
KATHLEEN LIGHTS – USA – 4 MILLION:
Kathleen posts very often, so if you enjoy watching really consistent uploading, then she’s a different gem. I love her hauls and her Kat chat’s videos. She also does a lot of product recommendations and skincare recommendations for very dry skin which may be some of you.
KARIMA MCKIMME – AUSTRALIA – 271 THOUSAND:
If you like detail and precision when watching a YouTube video then I think you’ll love Karima. I’ve never watched anyone else’s video’s that seemed like they had spent more time or effort into creating the video or trialling the products. From her descriptions of products to the way she films her swatches, I think her attention to detail is second to none on YouTube and I always love her recommendations, she also always has some luxury gems to talk about which I love.
SAMANTHA RAVNDAHL – CANADA – 926 THOUSAND:
Sam has really been one of the reasons that my love for YouTube has been reignited. I love her glowy approach to makeup, her sarcastic sense of humour and her very honest approach to discussing mental health. I really enjoyed her weekly vlogs, but she more often uploads makeup tutorials and makeup style videos which I do thoroughly enjoy. The perfect person to follow if you’re a fan of cream and liquid products which she more often angles toward has definitely given me a lot of cream recommendations.
Lipstick ‘N’ Linguine – Australia – 908:
Rosa is actually a darling friend of mine that I’ve met through Instagram and the Sydney beauty blogging community, and love watching her reviews and all videos. I love her haul videos as I always trust her opinion and find that she’s so honest with her viewers. She’s very strong about mindfulness and discussing mental health and being positive in 2019, which I could not be more about!
ALISSA ASHLEY – USA – 1.8 MILLION:
Alissa is one of those truly talented YouTuber’s who creates such incredible makeup looks and takes the most incredible macro photos of her makeup on her Instagram, obsessed. Her short hair should be an inspiration to all because she looks amazing. I love her reviews, and the way she does her makeup. Seems like a super lovely soul too, and has the elements of sweet, but no bullshit, which I love.
STEPHANIE BAILEY – AUSTRALIA – 117 THOUSAND:
Steph is not only a total sweetheart that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in person but also a really fabulous YouTube creator. My favourite part of Steph’s channel is her ‘Lazy Gal Diaries’ which I’ve really been enjoying her honest approach to her own struggles with mental health, as well as adding a more realistic twist to the daily lifestyle videos.
JAUN – AUSTRALIA – 4.1 THOUSAND:
Tanika is someone that I discovered on Instagram and is such a lovely young lady. I love her recommendations for pale skin, she like Alissa rocks the short hair and looks amazing while doing it. Her makeup tutorials are super easy to follow, and she gives me lots of inspiration for ideas of how to do my makeup when I don’t have a tan.
SIAN STEPHANIE – UK – 35 THOUSAND:
Sian is someone I’ve followed for a really long time, and back when the only people I watched were UK YouTuber’s, she has amazing style and really natural but somehow glam makeup style. She has a personable style of filming and gives that ‘friend’ style chatty video that makes it feel very natural to watch which is my favourite kind of videos to watch. She also has gorgeous naturally curly hair and has some really great hair recommendations for those with super curly/ringlet hair.
If you have any favourite YouTubers that you’ve been loving, please do let me know as I do love discovering new channels to watch. I know that there is such a huge market of YouTube channels and a lot of those I’ve mentioned are quite commercially popular, so please let me know of any smaller accounts that are worth checking out!
