Having used the Clarisonic cleansing devices I was very curious as to how this would feel on the skin and general experience of using the Foreo Luna 2 as there have been many improvements and adjustments made to the product since the original Luna. After reading these adjustments I was so excited as I think it’s very admiral that a brand would listen to its consumers and make adjustments accordingly.
This has a distinct buzzing/vibrating sound, so if you are sensestive to sound or the feel of a light vibration then you may find this irritating, however if you have used the Clarisonic cleansing device then you won’t notice much of a difference as the sound is remarkably similar.
This makes my skin feel incredibly clean its really beautiful on the skin, and the silicone heads on even the ‘normal’ device are gentle enough for my rosacea-prone skin, I can only imagine how gentle the ‘sensitive’ device. Using the Foreo Luna 2 doesn’t make my skin feel dry or over exfoliated.
- Four different devices for different skin types.
- Not drying.
- Works with all gel, cream and even balm cleansers.
- Difficult to reach small crevasses.
- Costly initial expense.
- Some people may experience initial ‘purging’ stage.
In case it’s not obvious from my thoughts, I have been loving the Foreo Luna 2. My skin feels much less congested and my pores appear smaller since using it. I have experienced a little bit of ‘purging’ in terms of all built up dirt, sebum and general pollution on my face and in my pores.
I’ve found that the Luna 2 works well with gel, oil, cream cleansers and even works well with balm cleansers once they have been emulsified onto the skin lightly. I wouldn’t personally recommend using an exfoliating cleanser or exfoliator with the Luna 2 as I think it would be too abrasive. However, I’ve found using exfoliators after using
I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying a cleansing device like the Clarisonic and
