Thoughts:

Honestly, at first I hated this foundation, but after using it three times, I finally got a chance to better understand how to better use the foundation and what works better with it for my skin.

It’s quite a thick formula and I cannot stress enough how important light layers are if you are prone to any kind of oily breakthrough when wearing a foundation. I find that it can leaves a beautiful glow to my skin with a really natural skin like appearance and can be very easily built up in coverage.

Pro’s:

  • Comfortable on the skin.
  • Buildable coverage.
  • Lasts well when used with appropriate other products.
  • Easily accessible.

Con’s:

  • Medium size shade range.
  • Transfers.

Verdict:

I would guess that this foundation isn’t ideal for oily skin due to the thicker texture and general glow on the skin, but as I do not have oily skin anymore, I wouldn’t feel comfortable condemning it for the oily skin community.

Personally, I’ve been loving this foundation after a little bit of tinkering with it and making it more ideal for my normal/combination skin. I prefer this foundation with a brush, but when using a sponge light layers are still definitely the key to this foundation working for me personally.

I love the healthy appearance this has on my face and find that it’s so flattering even when my skin is playing up or hormonal spots start appearing. It’s the kind of foundation you want to wear when you need a little pep up or feeling a little dull, literally the dream for hungover days.

Overall, I’m loving this foundation, and so much more impressed than I was initially. It mixes well with other liquid products including any liquid glowy products that I just adore mixing into my foundations.

    1. Ah well it might even be worth picking up a sample in store and trying it to see how it works on your skin. I’m guessing it won’t be entirely ideal because it can be quite dewy, but couldn’t hurt to try! Thank you for reading x
