BEAUTY: Concealer Guide.

Concealer is one of my favourite beauty products, but I tend to gravitate towards liquid concealers, rather than pot style cream concealers, so if they’re your fave this list probably won’t be for you.

However, if you’re a liquid concealer kind of person then this might be a list for you. I’ve been using quite a few different ones lately, but as always there are a couple I have my eye on, but trying to limit myself to reduce waste.

Personally I mainly use concealer under my eyes, around my nose and on spots when necessary. Having gone to the Jackie Aina school of makeup via YouTube, I like to let me concealer sit on my skin for a minute or two and find that it enhances the coverage minimising brushing away the majority of product.

IT COSMETICS – Bye Bye Breakouts:

This is the only concealer that I don’t multi-use, I only use this concealer on breakouts and find that it covers my spots really well without drawing attention to them. It lasts well as well in a way that other concealers don’t seem to last as well on spots as this one does.

TARTE COSMETICS – Shape Tape:

For a long time, this was my absolute favourite concealer and the only thing I used, for about 3 tubes worth. I love the coverage and longevity of this concealer, but find that at times it can be a tiny bit drying under my eyes, but applying an eye cream in my skin prep keeps that from being an issue.

L’OREAL – Infaillible Concealer:

This has become my new favourite concealer as I love the full coverage, and it is more affordable than the Tarte Shape tape, however I’ve bought a shade that is far too light my under eyes when I have any kind of tan, but that can’t be a criticism of the actual concealer.

LAURA MERCIER – Flawless Fusion Ultra-LongWear Concealer:

This concealer has been in my collection for a couple of months now, and I really enjoy the light weight feel of this whilst still having medium coverage. Also feels quite hydrating under my eyes in comparison with some other concealers.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION – Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer:

Another newer discovery, and also affordable and available at Priceline. This concealer is very full coverage, and like the shape tape does feel slightly drying, but nothing that a little eye cream can’t fix.

BOBBI BROWN – Instant Full Cover Concealer:

Love the concealer, haaaate the applicator. I find this impossible to really apply to my skin, and normally end up using a brush or finding myself dipping in and out of the tube constantly because it doesn’t apply much product each time. In consistency is very nice and lightweight with medium coverage.

Thank you for reading, I do really enjoy these concealers, all for slightly different reasons, but with a general overall liquid concealer, medium or full coverage concealer being my faves. Let me know your favourites, and why you love them!
