There are a lot of skincare products that I adore, but lately, I’ve been in such a good routine with using up products. Therefore, I have been using the same products more often, and getting to know them very well, and enjoying them even more than I would have previously!
So, I’ve included the products I’m currently using for my morning skincare routine. There are obviously alternate products you could use that will still be just as fabulous, but these are the ones I’m currently using very often to keep my skin feeling fresh.
After having such dull and breakout prone skin at the beginning of Isolation, these products have helped bring my skin back to normal thankfully!
SERUM – Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense:
Hydrating serums are always go to’s and the one’s I used up fastest because my skin just drinks them in. Love this hydrating serum from Medik8, it is so lightweight, but makes my skin feel hydrated and looks super plump after use!
EYECREAM – Murad Skincare Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector:
I love the slight tint to this eye cream as it makes me look awake and brighter when using it. I wouldn’t say it has dramatically improved my dark circles, but it has definitely improved the hydration around my eyes.
MOISTURISER – REN Clean Skincare Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream:
I love this moisturiser as it comes in a super convenient pump and contains Vitamin C, which my skin adores to keep it looking bright and healthy and prevent my freckles from becoming super prominent which can make my skin appear dull. This absorbs quickly into my skin, and wears beautifully under makeup.
SPF – Ultra Violette Queen Screen SPF 50+:
One of the most hyped SPF’s ever! I’ve never seen an SPF get this kind of attention and I totally understand why, it is so lightweight, and doesn’t leave a scent or white cast. SPF everyday is such a great routine to get into so that your skin is always protected from sun damage as well as melanoma.
LIP BALM – Marc Jacobs Hydrating Coconut Lip Oil:
My new favourite lip balm a super hydrating lip oil that is applied with a doe foot applicator which I adore. I love the coconut scent and the lightweight feel of the oil rather than being heavy or sticky.
I definitely have a longer skincare routine of an evening, but I try and keep things simple in the morning so that it is a routine I can consistently stick to. I found when I was making my routine too long in the morning it was impossible to keep up with, so I ended up doing nothing instead. A small skincare routine is better than nothing.
